Choir Practices in February for The Jesus Story

We will need a few rehearsals to remind ourselves of the music for The Jesus Story, and I would like to encourage other singers to join us. For the Grantham and hopefully Edenham performances there will be also singers and instrumentalists from Harrowby Lane Methodist Church, Grantham.

The rehearsals are a mixture of dates beginning in February at Corby Glen Methodist Church, starting at 7.30pm.

New singers are very welcome – and you don’t have to be able to read music!

If you would like to join us, please keep these dates free and let me know your availability:

The Jesus Story Continues!

The exciting biblical story of Jesus Christ has been retold in 18 songs with narration, in a new musical entitled The Jesus Story. The musical was written by Richard Rice-Oxley, now a retired priest living in Swinstead, South Lincs. The first performances, given by a local choir and musicians in Swayfield and Corby Glen, were warmly received by packed audiences.

We have been invited to perform The Jesus Story again in 2016:

  • GRANTHAM Methodist Church, Harrowby Lane, Friday 18 March at 7.30p.m.
  • EDENHAM Village Hall,
    Sunday 20 March at 4.00p.m.
  • MORTON Church, Saturday 25 June, time t.b.c.
